Jared is a multidisciplinary performing artist and athlete, born and raised in Vancouver. At four years old, he began training in Capoeira, which inspired him to pursue Power Tumbling, as well as Singing and Musical Theatre. As a Trampoline and Tumbling Gymnast, Jared has trained across Canada, The United States, England, and France. He has represented Canada at three World Age Group Championships, earning two World Cup Silver medals, twelve National Championship medals and three Canadian titles. Along with his athletic career, Jared studied as both a classical and pop/jazz vocalist. Some of his theatre credits include working with The Arts Club, Royal City Musical Theatre, and the Vancouver International Jazz Festival. After graduating high school, Jared began training in Montreal with Cirque Du Soleil, where he became a member of the original recreation cast of “OVO” the North American tour. As a dancer, he has trained in Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles, New York, London and with various Vancouver based companies. Some of his dance and film credits include Disney’s Descendants 3, Netflix’s Sabrina, winner of Canadian Short Film Festival’s Iridescence, Leo Award-winning Catwalk, and stunt work for video games by EA Games. In concert, Jared has appeared on stage with Nicole Kirkland at The Main Event, in Los Angeles at ‘Posers’, and under Showstoppers with Barry Manilow, Foreigner, and Eric Church. In addition to his experience as a contemporary, hip-hop and commercial dancer, Jared is known for his unique athleticism in his acrobatic-fusion styles. Jared has had the opportunity to teach throughout Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and across the UK. Along with currently working as a dancer and actor, Jared is well known in the industry for his work as both an artist and instructor for hand balancing, contortion and aerial acrobatics. When not in the studio, on stage or on camera, Jared is a Psychology student at the University of British Columbia and an internationally certified Personal Trainer.
